It's Time to Make my First Post

I created "Just Sitting Around" a long time ago but never got around to posting anything and actually forgot that I had it until tonight.

Maybe it's time, then, to post something.

I guess I can talk about what I've been doing in all that time.  In 2008, I started doing some freelance writing in my spare time and have over 60 articles online at Suite101.com.  About half of my articles are Bible-based where I discuss the meanings of verses, give outlines of books in the Bible, or discuss various characters in the Bible.

Quite a few other articles are about historical figures such as Tennessee Confederate spy  Sam Davis, World War II prisoner of war Jacob DeShazer who returned to Japan to become a missionary, the three Tennessee men who served as U.S. President, and others.

I also am a big Dallas Cowboys fan so I have a series of articles about them and a variety of Super Bowl articles.

More recently, I started writing for DecodedScience.com.  This is a site where people write science or technology oriented articles based on their education, career, and expertise.  My first article, a guide to buying a new computer, was published on December 4th.
